About me

I am a Design & Development Engineer from New Zealand currently living in Bristol, UK.  I have over 2 years of experience in the medical device and consumer product design industries. I have a passion for creating functional and user-centred products and am excited to bring ideas to life through sketching, hands-on prototyping, and CAD modelling.

I am fascinated by all stages of the design process, and have experience empathising with users, generating ideas, problem solving, creating prototypes and testing, developing risk assessments and FMEAs, and designing for manufacture and assembly.

With expertise in Siemens NX, Creo, and Solidworks I have a strong foundation to quickly and efficiently create parametric models for prototyping and testing. I am capable of managing complex parts and owning GAs from early stages through to production. I thrive in cross-functional teams, and love to collaborate, communicate and understand a range of diverse perspectives. I believe that a diverse range of thought is what creates fresh, high quality, and useful products.

I am also dedicated to improving the representation of women in engineering and have been involved in a range of diversity and inclusion initiatives. My experience within these initiatives drives me to create inclusive and accessible designs. I am committed to making a positive impact in the industry and make a difference in people's lives through my work.

I am always looking for new opportunities to learn and grow so please reach out to connect and chat!
